Description Buraco
"Buraco" means "hole" in Portuguese... but what's relevant is how fun this game is! Lay down your cards and beat your opponents! Buraco is a card game for 2 players or 4 players, who play in pairs. The goal of the game is to create combinations formed either by straights or, depending on the mode, sets of 3 or more cards of the same number — oh, and also score more points than your opponents! Buraco riginated from Uruguay and Argentina in the mid-1940s, and its name derives from the Portuguese word "buraco", which means “hole”. It's a card game of the Canasta family for four players that aim is to lay down combinations in groups of cards of equal rank and suit sequences, there being a bonus for combinations of seven cards or more. Buraco is a variation of Canasta that allows both for standard melds and sequences. You don't know what that means? Then play and find out!
